Urine Meter is a single-use medical device designed for accurate measurement and temporary collection of urine, specifically tailored for critically ill patients, postoperative care, or those requiring precise monitoring of urine output. Constructed from high-quality medical-grade PVC, it integrates a calibrated measuring chamber, anti-reflux valve, and universal connector compatible with urinary catheters and drainage bags. Sterilized and ready for immediate use, it is widely applied in ICUs, operating rooms, postoperative wards, and emergency departments, ensuring reliable urine volume tracking for clinical decision-making.

The meter's compact, transparent measuring chamber features clear, high-precision mL graduations, enabling healthcare providers to quickly and accurately read urine output without transferring fluids. The built-in anti-reflux valve prevents urine backflow, minimizing the risk of urinary tract infections (UTIs) and maintaining sterile conditions. A one-way drainage valve or push-button emptying mechanism allows for convenient transfer of measured urine to a secondary drainage bag, eliminating spillage and ensuring continuous monitoring. The proximal standard connector securely attaches to indwelling catheters (e.g., Foley catheters), while the distal outlet connects to urinary drainage bags for extended collection. Each unit is individually sterilized via ethylene oxide (EO) gas, complying with ISO 13485, CE, and NMPA medical device standards, guaranteeing safe and accurate clinical application.

Each production batch undergoes strict quality testing, including: biocompatibility evaluation (cytotoxicity, skin irritation), measurement accuracy verification (calibration against standard volumes), anti-reflux valve function testing, leak-proof performance validation, dimensional accuracy checks (connector size, chamber volume), and sterility validation (EO residual content ≤10 μg/g). A unique batch number is assigned for full production and distribution traceability, and a detailed Instruction for Use (IFU) is included with each package, specifying assembly steps, measurement procedures, and safety precautions.

1. Packing: Individual sterile paper-plastic composite packaging with peel-open seal; each package is clearly labeled with product name, measuring range, batch number, sterilization date, and expiration date. Bulk transport in sturdy corrugated cartons with anti-crush dividers to prevent damage to the measuring chamber or valves.
2. Storage: Store in a clean, dry, well-ventilated environment with temperature 10℃~40℃ and relative humidity ≤80%. Avoid direct sunlight, high heat (above 50℃), high humidity, contact with sharp objects, or corrosive substances. Do not stack heavy objects on packaging, and keep sealed until immediately before use.
3. Handling: For single-patient use only-do not reuse, reprocess, or share to prevent cross-infection. Before use, inspect the package for tears, damage, or expiration; discard immediately if sterility is compromised. Ensure secure connections between the meter, catheter, and drainage bag to avoid leakage. Empty the measuring chamber promptly after reaching full capacity to prevent overflow. After use, dispose of the meter in accordance with medical waste management regulations.
4. Transportation: Transport in accordance with national and international medical device transportation regulations. Protect from violent collision, compression, moisture, and direct sunlight. Avoid transportation with toxic, harmful, or corrosive substances. Ensure the transportation environment temperature is between -10℃~50℃ to maintain product integrity and sterility.
